RRRA-run bike share is coming to Carleton!

ImageCarleton University will soon have its very own bike sharing program! Bikes are free to all Rideau River Residence Association (RRRA) members and cost $5 per day or $20 per year for all Carleton students, staff, faculty, and alumni. A $20 safety deposit is required.

This program has been made possible by the incredible initiative of Arif Jaffer, VP Admin, and the community support from Citizens for Safe Cycling, the Department of University Safety, and RightBike. C.U. Cycling has also been giving our support and advice for the program.

We’re very excited to see such a great program come to Carleton and we really hope that everyone benefits from it and treats the bikes well!

If you want to read more, refer to The Charlatan article on the topic and check out the BikeShare page on the RRRA website.
